| It is Searles who has done the
behind-the-scenes work that has made The Summerlands a reality. Without his background in
electrical engineering and his understanding of computers and programs we would not have
the wonderful "space" to create our community. He is also responsible for
teaching the Aonach Ceilteach and for developing and instructing at An Daire Drai'ochta.
Searles first discovered Druidism when he was searching out his ancestral roots and
unearthed his Celtic heritage over 30 years ago. Since then he has studied continuously
and is now a respected Celtic and Druidic scholar. Over the last few years, he has been
published in several magazines including The Henge of Keltria and Hearth Fire
and, in fact, had an ongoing column in the Keltria publication until it ceased to be. You
